Key Holding

Many families would prefer not to be in residence when the builders move in to undertake repairs or improvements. The team at La Concha Living offers to retain copies of your keys, enabling you to leave the problem of access to us.

Property inspections

At least one visit every two weeks will be undertaken as part of home management, to ensure that your home remains in prime condition, ready for your return. If we discover any problems or underlying issues that have the potential to cause damage to your apartment or villa, we will contact you to obtain further instructions.

Immediate inspection following bad weather

Yes, it can be stormy in Spain, although the weather soon reverts to its warm, sunny default setting!

However, when the winds blow and the rain falls you need to be sure that your property remains intact. La Concha Living home management includes immediate and thorough inspection after any bad weather and keep you informed of any action that might need to be taken if there is any damage.

Air your property

If your apartment or villa is locked up for long periods you can not help but notice that it smells musty on your arrival. We will undertake to air your home thoroughly before your arrival to ensure that you can enjoy your stay right from the first moment that you step through the front door.

Check your plumbing

While you’re away we will ensure that we check your taps and flush your lavatories to check that your plumbing is in good order and that there has been no problem with your water supply.

Test your electrical equipment

There are few things worse than arriving for your stay in your Spanish property to find that there is a major problem with your electricity supply. We undertake to check your lighting and power points before your arrival; if we find a major problem, we will contact you, then organise and oversee repairs.

Test your security system

If you leave your property unoccupied for long periods of time you need to feel that your alarm is in good working order. The security of your property is one of our prime considerations, so during our home management inspection visits, we will test your alarm and security system.

Water your plants

If you spend a lot of time in your property you will probably have accumulated a few plants, which will need some attention if you want to continue to enjoy them! During your absence, we will make sure that your plants are watered so that they are in peak condition when you return to your apartment or villa.

Check your terraces

Having a property in Spain means that you can enjoy the life outdoors throughout most of the year. La Concha Living’s team will ensure that your terraces and the outside of your property remain in good order so that all you will need to do on your arrival is to find a suitable spot and relax.

Collect your mail

There’s nothing that broadcasts your absence more clearly to potential burglars than uncollected mail. We will collect your post and keep it for you until your next visit.
